[ About ]

Christina Junestam, owner and trainer, originates in Sweden where she practically grew up in a pack of German Shepherds. Her parents have been active in the dog community for over 30 years and her mother is a breeder (Australian Shepherds), trainer and competition judge for the Swedish equivalent of the AKC. In addition to being involved with dogs and dog training all her life, Christina has also owned and trained horses, a rabbit, and even a cat. Growing up in this environment has given Christina a tremendous amount of experience with dogs and a sound understanding of dog communication and training.

Christina has trained dogs for most of her life. Her current dog, a Black Labrador/
Chow Chow/German Shepherd mix named JoJo, is a rescue from The Humane Society for Seattle/King County. He and Christina are now training in competition obedience and have also trained agility and rally obedience. In addition they have of course earned their Canine Good Citizen Certificate!

An active volunteer for The Humane Society for Seattle/King County for the past three years, Christina is a strong believer in rescue and adoption of dogs and other pets. Over the years she and her husband have fostered many cats and dogs for The Humane Society.
